Mail Server + Spam Filter Software
« on: April 21, 2004, 06:42:00 pm »
Hi all,

Wondering if you can help me out on this one...

I am in the process of purchasing a dedicated server for my business.  I will be moving my existing customers over to this new box (finally got enough hosting accounts to afford it!) and start putting my new customers on it as they come along.

However, with the new server comes some new issues.  I need to install a mail server and really good spam protection.  The mail server should provide a web-based e-mail option.

The server will be running Windows 2000 as an OS (please don\'t beat me up Linux guys ... I know... I know...)

Can anyone suggest a good mail server package that will meet my needs (affordable, web-based e-mail capabilities) and most importantly some good Spam solutions that are available out there.

Thanks for any help!

I would suggesting Unix alike OS! You would be able to get qmail or postoffice set up with a few great spam and virus filters...

Hope things work out fine with your new server...
